Biography of Alfred Nobel: Dr. Alfred Nobel was born on 21st October, 1833 at
Stockholm, Sweden. He was an engineer. His father Emanuel Nobel was an architect and researcher. He had ammunition business at Leningrad. In 1850 Alfred Nobel joined his father’s company. After some year Alfred Nobel invented dynamite. He earned a lot of money from his dynamite business. He undertook a plan to give an award for encouraging the creative work. The award was also given for setting up peace in the world. This award was named after Alfred Nobel. So it was called the ‘Nobel Prize. The Nobel Prize has been being give since 1901.The prize is given every year. The has immortalized his name. Alfred was often sickly as a chilled but he was always lively and curios about the world around him. His father struggled to set up a profitable business in Sweden. Alfred knows many languages and became fluent in English, French, German, and Russian as well his native language, Swedish. When Alfred was five years than he returned to Russia and began working in his factory making military equipment for the Crimean War. Her family moved by Sweden. Alfred brother died while in France. We know that France newspaper erroneously publish Alfred’s obituary instead and condemned Alfred for his invention of dynamite. We know that Alfred Nobel was a great man and chemist in the world.

He died of a stroke on December 10, 1896, in San Remo, Italy. After taxes and bequests to individuals, Nobel left 31,225,000 Swedish kronor (equivalent to 250 million U.S. dollars in 2008) to fund the Nobel Prizes.
